Aina-Nia is the founder and managing director of Sacred Women International (SWI) and a renowned leadership development trainer, spiritual teacher and life coach. Aina-Nia is a Minister of New Thought Ancient Wisdom with initiations in various indigenous practices. She studied extensively with world-renowned author and TV personality, Dr. Iyanla Vanzant and, she is a graduate of St. Xavier University – CWF Leadership Program.
Aina-Nia is currently travelling to various cities to fulfill her calling to support individuals in the process of remembering their power and claiming the life that they envision.
Aina-Nia has worked in the area of corporate and non-profit leadership development for over two decades. Through her effective impacts in these environments, she developed and facilitated various personal and professional development programs, including the SLT™ (Sacred Leadership Training) for women who lead. Aina-Nia passionately shares her innovative theories and techniques on individual wellness with staff, managers and boards, as a means to supporting organizational sustainability. She has presented to academic, corporate, spiritual and civil society audiences in Canada, USA, the Caribbean and Ghana.
Aina-Nia has been recognized in both the Canadian and USA media including Heart & Soul and Planet Africa magazines and in 2008 was nominated as one of Toronto’s most inspiring women. In 2015 she was recognized by the Ontario government for her contributions to community. She was nominated as Top 100 Black Women to Watch in Canada for 2017 and in 2018 she was honoured as 100 Accomplished Black Canadian Women. The documentary film, Remembering Her Power™ highlights Aina-Nia’s work and was premiered at the Parliament of World Religions 2018 and a Mother’s Day feature film on AfroGlobal TV in 2019. Aina-Nia was also featured in the YouTube web series Souls of Women.
